I bought this Freeman PFBC940 4-in-1 Mini Flooring gun/stapler to install ~700 SF 5/32" engineered hardwood flooring. It worked great once I had the depth settings adjusted. Much cheaper than any other flooring stapler I could find. No misfires. Gun would probably be better on thicker floors though.

Works just as good as my other Freeman flooring nailer. Once I figured that out and set the height, the Freeman PFBC940 4-in-1 Mini Flooring Nailer/Stapler tool worked flawlessly. If the staple is too long the gun wont be able to drive the staple through the flooring and sub-floor. Great quality for the price you pay!

Changing the nailing base can be a little tricky. You have to undo a spring clip, then pull an itsy-bitsy rubber o=ring about the size of a pin head in order to pull the shaft that releases the nailing shoe. Once hooked in to my air compressor, the tool worked like a charm. Freeman PFBC940 never misfired and drove the staple through 3/8 inch bamboo flooring. Once that staple is driven, it holds really well. I've been doing flooring for 12 years. and this tool works great. keeping the loader clean will prevent misfire and jamming.

I let my first ones build up and ended buying 2 more to replace the old ones. Once I cleaned the old ones from the build up, they worked like new again. Anyways, they work great, and is definitely the best Mini Flooring Nailer/Stapler on the market...knowingly I've used ALOT of other brands.
